Yep I'm back from vacation but I would avoid myself if I could. I've had a cold since Monday and it's summer time. Either that or I've official gotten H1N1 and it's only a matter of time before everyone around me is down with the swine to! Worst part is I can't really take any time off of work since I've been gone for a freaking week anyway.

I've been pretty busy. I haven't taken an entire week off of work at least 5 years, and I'm headed out tomorrow. I'm taking the family to Disney World for 8 days and I'll be off work 10 days straight. In this economy that doesn't mean I won't be checking in but it should be a pretty damn nice break. I'll try to send pictures, off to see the Florida rat!

Enjoy your time with friends and family but take just a little time to reflect on the reason for this season.

Why pay to rent a crappy movie that never even made it to the theaters? You can watch Jessica Biel strip for free on the net! I'm guessing once this info gets out the rentals for the movie won't come close to paying for that one strip tease.

So we took the kids to camp and I think they all had a really good time. My son and his cousin, really second cousin but who’s counting caught newts or salamanders almost non-stop when we were at camp. My son was all over picking them up the other two boys were a little be skittish when it came to picking up the slimy things.
So we road quads and even went trout fishing for an hour or so. My cousin caught 3 trout and we showed the kids how to clean them and check in their stomachs to see what they had eaten.
Later that day my son and his cousin asked what the newts ate. I told them it didn’t matter because they weren’t taking them home. They could let them go so the next time we came to camp they could catch them again.
My son’s response to his cousin? “That’s ok we’ll just cut one open and look in his stomach!”
They didn’t take any newts home and they didn’t gut any either, but one father thought that’s my boy!

I’ve been in St. Louis for a week and just got back in town. I’ll just say that St. Louis appears to be the armpit of America. The bright note in all of this is that I’ll be taking my son to camp for the first time! I’ve taken him to fishing camp, snowmobile camp, but not my favorite hunting camp! He’s going with his two cousins so I hope they will help entertain each other. Pray for the rain to hold off and we’ll get some quad riding and gun shooting in with the boys. I’m taking my 22 so that they boys can try to pluck some targets.

Don't expect much of me today. I started my day at work before 6am which makes for a nice short day. I've got a pile of wood and a stump I want to try to burn. So I'm figuring on lighting a fire outside and drinking some beer!

I’m gonna start up my 5.7 liter Hemi and let the bitch idle all evening long! Then I’m going to take some kerosene to the stump in my back yard I’m gonna try to burn this weekend!
Think I’m shitting you? Well kinda about idling the Dodge all evening I don’t make enough money to put that kind of gas in it.
My problem with earth day is that it’s another day when people can talk about my carbon footprint then head home to their luxury home in their hybrid car, that will have led batteries in the landfill in a couple of years.
I like hunting, fishing, ride quads, motorcycles, and snowmobiles and all of this is done in the great outdoors. I’m pissed when I see them putting gas wells 100 feet apart. Not because of the run off but because there has to be a smarter way to get more gas out of the wells you already have. I’m smart enough to know that the price of heating my house is directly affected by the amount of coal they mine and burn in my state. I’m not up for stopping any of it just think a little about how to do it better.
That’s why I don’t own a hybrid. How the hell would I haul quads, motorcycles, snowmobiles, and friends around in one of them damn things! Sure as hell a second vehicle for myself would cause more impact on the environment?
So all I’m saying is before you get all and fucking high and mighty on the guy pulling up next to you in a full size truck take a better look at your own life. Since you don’t know shit about mine you have no fucking right to judge me!
Love the Earth! Fuck Earth Day!

I just installed a new computer at home! That might not seem like such a big deal but I'm in IT. I know your thinking that should make it less of a big deal and actually the installation was no big deal at all spending the cash was the big deal.
I generally always take the leftover computers from work and rebuild them so that I never pay a dime for a computer. The down side is that every computer I've ever had at home is at least 3 years old and the last computer was about 6 years old before I replaced it. When my kids started saying how slow the computer was I knew it was time.
So for just over $400 cash I'm the happy owner of a new computer. I'm not saying that it will make me updated the site more often but, hey it's the weekend and here I am posting!

I know it's an old joke if you visited the site in the past but I still say it's a good one!
